Buick Museum at Gilmore
Covering Over 100 Years of Buick History
Who we are
We are a group of individuals who have been members of the BCA (Buick Club of America) for 50+ years and have always loved our Buicks. We knew when we visited the Gilmore Campus that this was the perfect home for a Buick Museum.
We want to share our love of Buicks with future generations!

Our Vision for the Buick Museum at Gilmore
We anticipate building a 12,000 square foot building located on a prime spot on the Gilmore campus overlooking the show fields, across from the diner and next to the vintage track, emulating the historic feel of the adjacent buildings. Through a rotating collection of cars, we will display the over 120 year history of Buick from 1903 to the present day. Importantly, our displays, exhibits, and archival material will focus on Buick's role in the growth of the American automobile industry, as the founder of General Motors and as a leader in style, design, and technology. From the engineering brilliance of Walter Marr, to the styling genius of Harley Earl, from the 1903 two cylinder to the 455 and turbos of the muscle car era, our Buick story will tell current and future generations of Buick's role in both changing and reflecting not only the American automobile industry, but our American culture and society as well. In short, we intend to show that the Buick story is also an important part of the American story.
